Karianne is expecting baby #2 the first week of March and big brother Liam just turned 2, so it was the perfect excuse for a photo shoot. Of course the weather didn’t cooperate at all, but that didn’t stop Karianne from being up for anything. And thanks to a friend who came to the rescue at the last minute, we got to shoot in this awesome space and have it all to ourselves! Karianne’s parents even came in from Indianapolis to bring Liam’s cousins in for the shoot, so we had to let them play in the puddles at the very end

I’ve been kicking off 2012 with some hot mamas…and some pretty sweet weather. This session was our second reschedule due to the weather and of course on a day when it called for 50+ degree temps, it was our first ice of the year. But Jenn & Mike were totally up for braving the weather and it really paid off. Can’t wait to meet that sweet baby boy in March

If only we all could look this hot at 35 weeks pregnant…sigh… Seriously, though, Jill & Chris were so much fun to photograph and we were thrilled to have a beautiful, warm January day for our shoot. Can’t wait to meet baby girl next month

Kynlee ~ 6 months

Who better to be the first face to grace the blog in 2012 than my beautiful niece Kynlee! I cannot believe she is 6 months already. The last 6 months have been such a whirlwind of highs & lows for our family, but I have to say that having Kynlee in the family now has been the highest high. She brings us all so much joy…I mean who couldn’t immediately be happy after seeing her face?!? Corbin absolutely loves his “Kynkie” and bless her heart she puts up with a lot from him…his open mouth sloppy kisses, nose honking, roller coaster bouncy seat rides, balls to the head and all. She is such a happy baby and is certainly coming into her own and developing quite the personality (as I’m sure you can see from all the funny faces). We all love our Kynlee and thank you for making our lives a whole lot brighter these past 6 months! And now let’s just get on with the pictures in her too-adorable-for-words nursery that Jenny poured her heart into making perfect.

Bextan ~ Birth

Leah's baby bump

I think I can safely say that Leah & Dan are DPS’s biggest fans Their wedding was one of the first we shot after starting the business and they have since become not just clients, but friends. The last time we got together, I knew they would be jumping on the baby band wagon very soon, so I was thrilled to get the news that she was pregnant a few months ago. Leah wanted her session in the Fall colors even though we were waiting for her to “pop” more and luckily we were able to do the session just in time. Can’t wait to meet this baby girl in February!

These two college sweethearts are getting married next August and I just know their wedding will be as cute & sweet as they are I think they may have the same problem Donny and I did on our honeymoon, though…we looked so young that everyone kept asking us where our parents were. Oops! Not a bad thing though Good luck finishing school and planning the rest of your wedding!
