This family is so sweet and it was such a pleasure to photograph them. The kids are almost exactly 2 years apart just like mine will be VERY SOON and big sister was soooo sweet! Makes me so excited to see the relationship between Corbin and his little brother blossom

Today our little man turned 2!! I can’t even believe it! I have much more to say & share about how amazing he is, but it is way past my bedtime these days We had big plans of a great photo shoot with him today for his 2nd birthday, but these (and a couple more out takes) are all we came away with in the 10 minutes we were there before he fell down those steps and busted his lip. (And yes we were bribing him with fruit snacks!) Oh boys!

Aleisa’s Baby Bump/Family Session

Aleisa is one of the most beautiful woman {inside & out} that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I first met her and her husband William in February during their consult for birth photography through Beautiful Beginnings. I knew the basics of their story, but did not fully grasp the magnitude of it until that evening. The little girl that Aleisa is carrying has been diagnosed with Trisomy18 and the outcome of her life outside the womb remains a mystery, however tests up until this point do not look very promising. Since her diagnosis, their journey has obviously not been easy, but Aleisa’s faith & commitment to God and the precious girl He has entrusted her to carry is simply amazing. They chose to do a maternity/family session to celebrate and document this special time in their lives, and I was so honored to be able to give them this gift. I had such a great time shooting Aleisa and the rest of her family on this beautiful Spring day.

Erin’s Baby Bump

Yet another GORGEOUS mama! Erin & Mark are expecting their first baby in just a couple of weeks and I’m so glad the timing & weather worked out that I could shoot their maternity pictures. They will be using Beautiful Beginnings to capture their birth as well, but since I am due right around the same time as Erin, I most likely will not be the one shooting her birth They picked out all of the locations and I had a blast exploring with them and capturing these precious moments before their lives are changed forever.

Remember this hot mama? Well she gave birth to a gorgeous daughter with the fullest head of hair I’ve ever seen on a newborn. So jealous Kerigan was such a trooper and managed to cooperate enough that we could get both awake & sleepy baby shots. Congratulations Jill & Chris!

The Leichter Family

It was so much fun photographing the entire Leichter family when they were all in town together over the holidays. Mindy & I have been best friends since junior high, and even though she lives in Dallas now, we have the type of friendship that seems like no time has passed since the last time we got together. It had been a long time since the whole family had pictures together, so we took advantage of this mild weather we have been having and had some fun. And yes this family is just as cute & loving towards each other as these pictures portray
