My precious little sister-in-law is marrying her best friend in a little over 2 months. Donny and I are so excited for them and I know the whole family agrees when I say we could not have picked a better guy for Jenny. They truly are truly a match made in heaven and we could not be happier for them.
Their story begins back in high school and is so similar to the story of how Donny and I got together…which is pretty cool if you ask me. They never dated back in high school, but there was always a special connection between them just waiting to be discovered when the time was right.
They started dating a little over a year ago and we all had a feeling this might be it. Turns out we were not the only ones 🙂
As much as I love all of the pictures of them I am posting, I would have to say that this next picture sums them up the best. Jenny & Dan always have so much fun together and it is so refreshing to see two people who are so much in love. I think they were also just a tiny bit excited to be graduating from college 🙂 Jenny just graduated from UC and Dan graduated from Miami University…2 Bachelor’s Degrees and a wedding in one Summer makes for one memorable year!
We couldn’t resist finishing up the session with some ice cream 🙂
Donny and I are so honored to be a part of Jenny & Dan’s special day! I just went and ordered my bridesmaid dress (which is super cute by the way) yesterday and it was so fun to be on the other side of a wedding for once 🙂 They are planning an outdoor wedding & reception at The Inn at Oneonta in northern Kentucky and it is going to be beautiful!! I promised I would give you more details about their actual engagement last December when I posted their “In Love” session, so here you go:
Even though Jenny was expecting get engaged at some point (she was definitely hoping it would be sooner rather than later). Dan managed to totally surprise her! He took her out for a romantic night on the town, complete with a carriage ride in downtown Cincinnati, the night before he actually proposed. Jenny really thought that might be the night and she could not help but be a little disappointed when it did not happen. Little did she know her dream would be coming true the next morning.
Early the next morning, Dan took Jenny to The Inn at Oneonta to “scope it out” and get some decorating ideas before our family Christmas that afternoon. While the were standing under the gazebo where they will say their vows on September 5, Dan got down on one knee and asked Jenny to marry him…and I am pretty sure Jenny became the happiest girl on the planet at that moment 🙂
Jenny & Dan ~ we love you both so much!!!
